Some aspects of the Gers gastronomy

The gastronomy of the Gers owes its origins to traditional country cooking, in particular of ducks, geese and chicken. It is also well known for its country wines, also floc and other specialities of the region including gascon pastis cake, Lectoure melons and a great variety of fresh fruit.
